Reflection paragraph on sources

The sources that I use were easy to find. ESPN and NHL was my better choice. I had all the information that I needed to know and the other websites only told what I type in the box. I was good in finding good sources like I said above me. The most useful source would be NHL. NHL was useful becasue that what I want to know and I'm studying it. NHL had all the things I needed for my project. If I needed to know some about a sport I would go to there home page for example if I wanted to know about the NBA and I had have to type in is www.nba.com  and if I wanted to know something about MLB or baseball I would type www.mlb.com . When I type that in then it would be easy for me to get what I need. The most trustworthy would have to be the www.espn.com. It had most of the true answers that I needed to know and NHL had regular people answering the question. Both ESPN and NHL showed the most obvious bias.

Reflection paragraph on process

The diffcult part was finding the tricks that the players did. I type in what are the names of the tricks that the player did and it came up short. I finally found it and I wasn't looking for it at that time. I came across it by accident but now I know some of the tricks that they did. I still don't know all the tricks that they did and I only know some of them. The easy was to find the postions and the teams names is I type it in and I immediately found it. That's was the easy part and I enjoy looking up all my questions that I wanted to know. I had fun doing it and I like doing it. I dislike have to look up some many things and go to many websites to do with the project. The most part of it was fun and even though I had to look up so many questions and the websites. If I had to do this project again I would take my time, type carefully, and read carefully. I wouldn't make that many mistakes and I would read and read until I found the answer. After that I was done I would go back and edit the ones that needs to be edit.

Relection paragraph on findings

I wanted to know all the teams names, the positions,  the refs, and the penalty they have. Now I know them. The most important facts I didn't know that NHL has so many rules and I thought they had just a few but they had over 30 rules. The most surprising details was the tricks that they do. I didn't know Hockey had tricks names. I thought that no sports had the tricks that NHL. I still wanted to know some of the Rules doesn't even make sense. I want to know what some of the rules are for. Hat Trick is one trick that I remember it is when a players scores three points in the game. Some of the rules were high sticking, too many man on the field, offsides, icing, kneeing, and tackling hard. Some of the refs names are field Judge, Goalie Judge, Score Judge, and the Main refs. Some of the positons are Foward, Left wing, Right wing, Goalie, Deffense, and Centers. Some of the teams I still remember is San Jose Sharks, Boston Bruins, Washington Captials, and Carolina Hurricans. Now I know everyting execpt for why are some of the rules needed.

Finding Paragraph #3

The names of the tricks

I wanted to know the tricks that they do and now I know them now.

Enforcer is unoffical guy. He is like the tough guy or the gangster. He is the beast and he acts like he is better than anyone else. An enforcer uses gets caught roughing other players like hitting hard or kneeing, or high sticking. There are 34 enforcers and every team has one except the Kings or Los Angles they have 2. My team boston bruins don't have one the team released him going into the playoffs. Now we got all the good and hard working players. We had 4 players to do an hat trick. An hat trick is when the players scores three points in the game. We only had four this year and we're the fourth  to the last on hat tricks. The top 3 teams are San Jose, Los Angles, and New York. They all have 8 players total and the kings had 2 players with the same hat trick.

Western Conference Teams:

Finding Paragraph #1

Pentalty and what names are

I wanted to know what kind of pentalty they have and here are them. Tripping, elbowing, roughing, high sticking, delay of game, too many man on the field, boarding, charging, hooking, slashing, kneeing, and unsportsmanlike conduct. There are more but i'm just name a few. Now I know what kind of pentalty they have.

For most penalties, the offending player is sent to the "penalty box" and his team has to play without him for a short amount of time. Minor penalties last for two minutes, major penalties last for five minutes, and a double minor penalty is two consecutive penalties of two minutes duration. A single Minor penalty may be extended by a further two minutes for causing visible injury to the victimized player. This is usually when blood is drawn during high sticking. The team that has been given a penalty is said to be playing shorthanded while the opposing team is on a power play.
A two-minute minor penalty is often charged for lesser infractions such as tripping, elbowing, roughing, high-sticking, delay of the game, too many players on the ice, boarding, illegal equipment, charging

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Washington Capitals general manager George McPhee arrived at the team's practice facility Wednesday morning, rode the elevator with defenseman Mike Green and prepared to address his players one final time this season. The Capitals met for exit interviews Wednesday less than 48 hours after a 5-0 loss in Game 7 of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series against the New York Rangers at Verizon Center.
"Coming up in the elevator, [Green] mentioned that he didn't want to have to sit down and have this talk," McPhee said of the exit interview. "But he also said ‘When we win [the Stanley Cup], it's going to be that much better. It's going to be glorious.' … I hope he's right."
The question remains whether that day will ever come for the only NHL team to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs in each of the past six years and not advance past the second round during that time.

This talks about the general manager arrived at the team's practice field on wednesday morning. He went and address his players one final time this season. The team got knocked out of the playoffs. The washington has not advance to the 2nd round or to the stanley cup in the past 6 years.

This graph goes along with my project. It shows all the team names and how much money they are worth. I want to learn all the team names and how much they cost but mostly the team names. It shows how much they are liked by the fans. The Blackhwaks has the most votes and NY Randgers has the least favorite votes. I think that vancover should be at the top because I see alot of people like vancover but I don't like vancover I like the Boston Bruins. On the graph the Boston Bruins is in the 9th place with the votes and I don't see many Boston fans. The only two teams that I see that Like the most isn't shown on the graph but it is between Los Angles Kings, and the Washington Capitals. The least favorite team that I don't see many people like is Boston, NY Rangers, Carolina, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis. I like the boston bruins but I like every time but Boston is my Favorite team.

San Jose Sharks forward Raffi Torres will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety at the NHL's New York office Thursday for a hit on Jarret Stoll of the Los Angeles Kings in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinal series on Tuesday. He is suspended pending the outcome of the hearing.
Torres was offered the opportunity for an in-person hearing as required by provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for any suspension that can exceed five games.
Torres received a minor penalty for charging on the hit, which occurred at 19:02 of the second period. Stoll did not return to the game.

CHICAGO – It started out alright for the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday night, but they'd probably like to forget the final 40 minutes of their Western Conference Semifinals series opener.
Despite the game remaining tied 1-1 heading into the third period, the Chicago Blackhawks took control of this game in the middle period and didn't let up until the final horn sounded at United Center to conclude their impressive 4-1 victory.
The Blackhawks got outhit 43-24 overall, but that was mainly because they dominated the puck for such long stretches in those final two periods – outskating and outplaying the Red Wings at both ends of the ice.
"In the first period, except for the first shift, I thought we did a good job staying on top of them," Red Wings defenseman Niklas Kronwall said. "Then in the second and third, for some reason, we ended up watching them play hockey instead of just going after them."

www.nhl/news/chicago news.com

They are talking about a game on wesnday that already happen. They are talking about the tie score 1-1 in the last mintues of the game. The chicago beat them 4-1. They outplayed and outstrength the Red Wings. The chicago stated that they did a good job staying on top of there oppopent.

This goes with my thing too. I want to learn the position of the players. This player show he is moving the puke. He is a foward and he is the main guy. I want to learn the rest of the poisitons. That's why it goes with my project. The players is on the detroit Redwings. He is moving the putt down the ice. This player has two hat tricks in the playoffs but his team was knock out of the playoffs by the Chicgo Blackhawks. If you don't know what a hat trick is and a hat trick is when a player scores three goals in the game. It doesn't matter if it is in a row or separate goals. It is still a hat trick. This player got throw out of the game because he got in a fight with another player. He is suspended for two games next season. That's why the team lost the playoffs. He was the superstar on the team.

Overtime.
"The longer the better," he told reporters Friday.
DeBoer elected to give his team a full day off Friday as the Devils await their opponent in the Eastern Conference Finals, which will start Monday.
"I don't think there's such a thing as too much rest this time of year," DeBoer said. "We have to stay sharp. That's [the coaches'] job, to manage the schedule and days off so we're ready to go Game 1. That's on the coaching staff to manage it properly. I wouldn't want to trade spots with someone playing a Game 7 right now."

www.nhl/ice/news/nyr-bos.com

They are talking about game 1 of the 2nd round of the playoffs. They are talking about they practice hard and that use the time wisely. They also fussing about there is not to much rest this time of the year. They want to stay sharp in the game and they don't need to make mistakes. They want to do good.

This goes with my project because NHL is what i'm studying. I want to know all about NHL. I want to know all the team names and the players names, refs names, tricks that they do, and the pentalty that they call. This logo means National Hockey League or the NHL. The NHL has been in serivce for over 65 years. I don't remeber that much about hockey. I just started liking hockey not to long ago. I started liking them when My team won the Stanley Cup finals in 2011 and that's when I started liking hockey. I picked Boston of a few things. First it was the logo and I like the logo it looks cool. The second reason is most of my teams that I like in sports is mainly Boston. The only team that I don't like in Boston is the Patriots. I like the steelers and I been liking the steelers since 2009 and I'm going to stick with them. I didn't pick Boston because they win the finals and I know alot of people would think that but that's not true. My team got knocked out last year in the first round against Washinton and this year Boston made it to the 2nd round is looking to go to the 3rd round. Washington got knocked out of the playoffs in the first round. NHL is my 4 best sport. Football is first, basketball is second, baseball is third, and Hockey my Fourth favorite sport.

Preliminary links and descriptions

The four sites that I want you'll to know is www.nhl.com, www.espn.com, www.njyhi.org/pass/hockey101/101 and that's all I know. I only got three web sites. The first websites directly go to NHL. It sows the team name, players name, standing, stats, videos, and the stadium names. The second doesn't directly go to NHL. It goes to every sport there is. I shows all the sports team name, players name, video, stories, and training. The last website tells you all about NHL. It's to like the first two websites. The first two tells you the teams names and everything. But this one just tell you how NHL works. I tells you the penalty names, the tricks they do, how many players on the field, names and duties of the ref, and the positions they have. The hockey organizations created NHL, the ESPN is created by the ESPN organizations, and the last website the students that study sports created it. How they are helpful and they tell you what you need to know.
